Cream Cheese Banana Muffins

Hello Everyone!

Today I wanted to share a fun recipe with you all for Cream Cheese Banana Muffins.

Whenever we end up with ripe bananas I always make cinnamon banana muffins but I wanted to try something new this time and thought these Cream Cheese Banana Muffins sounded wonderful! I mean who wouldn’t think Banana Muffins filled with cream cheese sounds good?!

We recently made these and absolutely fell in love with them! They taste great and aren’t too difficult to make at all.

2 Ripe Bananas

1 cup flour

1 Egg

1/2 cup Brown Sugar

1/2 cup softened butter

1/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

For the Cream Cheese Filling:

1 egg

3 tablespoon flour

4 oz Cream Cheese

1/4 cup Sugar

Preparation:

1. Set oven to 350 degrees.

2. For the Bread – Mix egg, sugar, butter and vanilla together first in large mixing bowl.  Then mix in the Banana’s and remaining ingredients for the bread.

3.  For the Cream Cheese Filling Mix all together in a separate bowl from the bread mix.

4.  Spray muffin pan.

5. Put a scoop of the Bread mix into each muffin spot.  Then put a scoop of Cream cheese Filling.  Followed by a small scoop of the Bread mix on the very top.

6. Bake for 20 (ish) min. and test with a toothpick.
