Hello Everyone!

As many of you know we are planning a trip to Disney and the closer it gets the more I want everything Disney (it may or may not be becoming a problem).

So once I discovered that Disney Subscription boxes existed I of course was super excited and pretty much wanted them all.  They seem to be getting me even more amped up for our upcoming Disney Vacation.

I’ve signed up for quite a few different boxes at this point.  Some I decided to keep and some I decided to cancel.  I thought I would let you know what I thought of them! Good Bye 2017! Hello 2018! | Happy New Year (Soon-ish)!

Hello Everyone!

We are down to the last couple days of 2017 and I honestly cannot believe it.  I swear once I became a mom time decided to speed up… it just runs faster now. At least that’s my theory.

What are everyone’s plans for the new year?

I know I have an exciting time planned….. sitting at home on the couch with the Hubby …. sounds like the perfect night to me (of course I would’ve laughed at this back in college).

I thought I would share some big moments from this past year with you all so you can get to know me a little bit better

And of course there are some other moments that I am super happy about as well.  Like starting this blog up (again – so don’t forget to subscribe – there’s my shameless plug) as well as our decision to start Weekly Family Vlogging.  So far we are 4 weeks into it and it has been a lot of fun keeping track of all the memories (good or bad).

I have a lot of big plans for next year and I can’t wait to share everything with all of you!

Merry Christmas | I was Almost Hospitalized at Christmas

Hello Everyone!

How was your Christmas? We have had a chaotic month for all of December.  I unfortunately have been in and out of the Hospital (that’s why I’ve been a little sparse on Social Media). I actually had to miss a family Christmas because of everything that happened.  But I am happy to say I was home for the Big one!

There was a point in time when I was concerned that I wouldn’t even be able to be out of the Hospital to see Santa come.  That was an upsetting moment for me.  I was trying to figure out how I would explain it to my toddler (who I had barley seen because I just didn’t want her coming to the hospital and being exposed to a ton more germs than she needed to be).

I had gone over all these scenarios in my head and had settled on one where we could ask Santa to come by a different day – so that Mama can be there.  I had face timed her as much as I could so I could try and be a part of all the fun Holiday stuff I was missing which certainly helped but still wasn’t comparable. Quick and Easy Beer Bread | Fun Homemade Bread Recipe

Hello Everyone!

I am sorry I’ve missed my Friday posts the last couple weeks.  Tons of snow and cold weather has come to town where I live and it aggravated my asthma.  I actually ended up in the Hospital the other night, but we finally have a handle on it!! So only posts I had previously scheduled were actually published!

But I wanted to share a fun and easy recipe for Beer Bread with you!

I LOVE Beer Bread and this is SO EASY to make and only requires 3 ingredients!  It’s perfect to have when your having guests over (you can be like all the fancy restaurants and bring out some freshly baked bread before dinner!).  Or you can just snack on it (I do this more often than I should). Huge News – I’m Starting a Weekly Vlog | Here’s the First Video

Hello Everyone!

I have some exciting news! We are going to be weekly vlogging and our first week is already posted!

For those of you who don’t know what Vlogging is – basically we will be documenting our lives, compiling it into a fun video and posting it once a week to my YouTube Channel (so if you aren’t already subscribed be sure to head on over there and check it out! This is something I’ve been wanted to do for well over 2 years and I finally pulled the trigger and am super excited to share my sometimes-boring, sometimes-crazy life with you all.

Almond Butter Snack Balls | A Quick and Easy Healthy Snack

Hello Everyone!

Today I wanted to share one of my favorite snacks with you! Almond Butter Snack Balls.

These are super easy to make and if you have a nut allergy you can simply substitute the Almond Butter with a different type of butter.

What you will need:

1 cup of Almond Butter

2 cups of Rolled Oats

2 tablespoons of Chia Seeds

2 tablespoons of Ground Flax Meal

1 cup of Raisins

You will literally just mix all of this together and then roll them into balls.  It is that simple.  They are quite healthy for you and super tasty!

Christmas Family Traditions | What are our Family Traditions This Time of Year?

Hello Everyone!

Today I wanted to talk about some fun Christmas Traditions that my family does and some that we are only just starting to do!

We See Santa: The first thing we do is go and see Santa every year (I even take my dogs to meet Santa)! Last year was baby girl’s first time meeting Santa and she was so interested in what was going on, it was just adorable to see!

Christmas Cookies: We love to bake over in my household.  I personally love baking and this has somehow rubbed off onto my daughter.  She loves helping me bake things, her favorite part is pouring the ingredients into the bowl.  We honestly have to bake something from scratch (most of the time it’s cookies) at least once a week.  This is why we love to bake Christmas Cookies.  So if anyone has any great cookie recipes please share them!
